Hello! My name is Lauren, and I’ve recently finished my master’s degree in English at the University of Oxford. This blog began during my freshman year of college as a way to document my college experience, but it has since grown to encompass many things I love, from the places I go to the books I read to the outfits I wear.
I am an avid coffee drinker and lover of all things cat-related. I believe there is never a bad time for good music and dance parties, breakfast food, or serving others. My nose is practically always in a book, and I believe that there’s no confidence-booster quite like an amazing outfit.
Most importantly, though, I strive to lead an ethical lifestyle. I’m a supporter of the fair trade and Fashion Revolution movements and have dedicated myself to being a more conscious consumer. Bottom line: I don’t want other people to suffer in order to accommodate my lifestyle. Being on a student budget has forced to me come up with feasible, affordable, and practical ways to put my ideals into practice, and I’m here to share them with you!
Follow my blog to keep up with the goings on in my life, the books I read, the adventures I take, and how I maintain ethical and affordable shopping habits. Thanks for stopping by!
